This home is all you'd want it to be and more

Where to start? This is a real family home. There's not a room in the house that's not cozy and comfortable. We were 17 people, including 2 toddlers. So much space....one morning I came down from the second floor, thinking I was the first one up, and there were 11 people in the kitchen, eating and laughing. No noise carried upstairs! The beds are ridiculously comfortable. The kids adored the basketball court, and they went out picking fruit in the beautiful groves, There's lots of room to together, and all sorts of places to be off on your own. We had a fabulous pizza chef (San Diego Pizza Co.) and ate all our dinners outside. The kids loved the pool...So will you. The owner is lovely and helpful, and I'd book this home again in a minute. Five stars is all they'd let me give....I'd have given more!

The home was are base of departure but we spent more time enjoying all the property had to offer between Tennis Volleyball Basketball swimming and just relaxing around the courtyard it met all the needs of parents kids and the grandkids. The owners checked in to make sure that we had what we needed which was a nice added touch. No need to go out to eat, the kitchen was the center of attention and we made great use of the BBQ , pizza oven (get Justin to come in and cook exquisite pizza's for you) and the outdoor fireplace for evening talks. Highly recommend spending a memorable vacation at this warm and enviting home.

Perfect house!

The house was just the right size for our large family reunion. The house, and guest house, comfortably fit all of us. There was plenty of room and activities to do...but we hardly left the pool and kitchen! We weren't sure about space for our groceries, but between the large chef's kitchen fridge and bar fridge, we never ran into a problem. Almost anything you'd need is right around the corner (shops, beach, golf, etc.). Rebecca was most helpful and responsive from the day we considered staying here through the days after we left. This was definitely the right choice for our family.

The estate was terrific. Just what we needed.

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our family of 7 couples and our elderly mom. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking supplies and plates, silverware, etc. The pool and spa were very nice. The beds were very comfortable but they were too high. It would be good to have one bedroom and bathroom that is better for an elderly person. It is a really gorgeous place.

Wonderful...Memory filled....Family Reunion

We held our family reunion (19 people) at Rancho Del Fresco Jul 16-23, 2016. The house and property was as the description and pictures reflected well appointed, spacious and beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and each had an adjoining bathroom which provided necessary privacy. The kitchen was a dream....large and spacious. A review to ensure availability of common cooking utensils would be recommended. We experienced a few issues with some of the pool features and remote control which was promptly addressed by the owner. The weather was beautiful and we were able to eat all meals outside on the large patio that had lots of seating and table space. The property is located centrally making it easy to get to the attractions the family was interested in - Legoland, Sea World, Mission Bay, beaches Pacific and Cardiff- by-the- Sea. In addition, we caught the Coaster for a quick trip into San Diego to catch a Padres/SF Giants baseball game. In the evenings we took advantage of some of the property features and held volleyball, basketball and ping pong tournaments. The family was unanimous - this is a great property and perfect for large gatherings and family reunions. We would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.
